Marketing & Operations Coordinator (Remote)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Marketing & Operations Coordinator

to support our marketing, hiring, and operations efforts. This is a fully
remote role

, best suited for someone with
2-4 years' experience maximum

, interested in growing into a broader operations role.

You'll report directly to the Customer Success Manager and will be expected to take ownership once briefed — driving execution, following up with stakeholders responsible for campaigns across channels, flagging issues early, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing Support

: Translate briefs into structured campaign plans; coordinate with designers; track execution; align with marketing calendar.

  • Creative Strategy Coordination

: Liaise with creative strategists; communicate/schedule deliverables; maintain and update content/marketing calendar.

  • Talent Sourcing & Hiring Support

: Draft job posts & proposals; organize candidate shortlists and interviews.

  • Website Development Tracking

: Maintain a log of website bugs / updates / feature requests; coordinate with developer post-brief; document outcomes & timelines.

  • Ad-hoc Operational Support

: Research, reporting, documentation; general admin/coordination; support day-to-day operations as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in roles like Virtual Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, or Project Manager.

  • Strong written communication & organizational skills.

  • Experience with marketing / project management tools, and hiring or managing freelancers (Upwork or similar).

  • Ability to work independently after being briefed, with good follow-ups and accountability.

  • Flexibility to handle ad-hoc tasks beyond what's listed when needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Shopify.

  • Understanding of digital marketing campaigns (email, social, paid ads).

  • Basic design sensibility – to better brief and evaluate creative work.
