About the Role

Role- Frontend Leader (Web Applications & Mobile Apps)

Location- Gurgaon

Work Model- 5 days WFO

We are seeking a visionary Frontend Leader to lead our Android, iOS, and Web development teams. As a key leader, you will be responsible for shaping the technology strategy, scaling our product offerings, and ensuring a world-class user experience across platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile and web technologies, strong leadership, and a passion for innovation in the consumer space.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing multi-platform (Android, iOS, Web) teams.
  • Strong expertise in mobile (Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, React Native, or similar) and web development (React, Vue, Angular, or similar) .
  • Experience scaling applications to millions of users in a B2C environment .
  • Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices .
  • Proven ability to lead distributed, high-performing engineering teams .
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on rapid iterations and continuous deployment.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Leadership: Define and implement the engineering strategy, ensuring seamless, scalable, and secure mobile and web applications.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor engineering teams across Android, iOS, and Web, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Product Development: Work closely with Product, UX, and Business teams to build and optimize customer-centric digital experiences.
  • Scalability & Performance: Ensure system architectures are scalable, maintain high performance, and meet security best practices.
  • Agile Execution: Oversee agile development processes, ensuring timely and high-quality releases while maintaining technical excellence.
  • Hiring & Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent, setting clear career progression paths.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Data, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to drive personalization, analytics, and user engagement.
  • Technical Roadmap: Own the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
  • Vendor & Tool Selection: Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks, and partnerships to accelerate development and enhance efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI/ML, personalization, or data-driven decision-making .
  • Prior experience in fintech, e-commerce, health tech, or a high-growth consumer startup .
  • Exposure to AR/VR, IoT, or emerging technologies is a plus.
