About the Role

We seek an experienced Front-End Architect to join our expanding Technology Team, responsible for delivering the Publicis Groupe's Project Management, Resource Management, and Time Tracking tool. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining the architecture for scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications deliver exceptional user experiences while aligning with business goals and technical requirements. In this role, you will also collaborate with multiple stakeholders, business teams, senior IT leadership, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the front-end architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate front-end frameworks, libraries, and tools.
  • Create reusable components, design systems, and UI patterns to streamline development and maintain consistency.
  • Lead the development of high-quality code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Ensure front-end applications are optimized for speed and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues.
  • Implement and monitor tools for code quality, performance, and testing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Lead the adoption of new tools, frameworks, or methodologies to enhance development workflows.
  • Drive innovation by exploring cutting-edge front-end technologies, such as AI-driven interfaces, PWAs, and WebAssembly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as principal frontend or frontend tech lead.
  • 14+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 5 years in an architecture role.
  • Strong understanding of state management: Redux (RTK), GraphQL, Context API.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
  • Experience with Webpack, Babel, or other build tools.
  • Expertise in cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring teams.
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and server-side rendering with React.
  • Strong experience with deployment CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or Github Actions, Docker.
  • Good understanding of developing NPM packages.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
