Job Overview


We are looking for a highly experienced Vendor Manager to join our team at Procucev. As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our vendor network, ensuring optimal relationships and negotiations with vendors, and driving cost savings for our clients. This is a senior-level position with 7 to 10 years of experience required. The job is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is a full-time role.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's of Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in vendor management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple vendor relationships and projects.
  • Experience with vendor management software and tools is a plus.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage and develop the vendor network, ensuring optimal relationships and partnerships.
  • Negotiate and finalize vendor contracts, terms, and conditions.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular vendor performance reviews.
  • Identify new potential vendors and assess their capabilities and suitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of vendor products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to ensure the company's vendor offerings are competitive.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvements through vendor negotiations and relationships.
  • Implement vendor management best practices and drive continuous improvement in vendor management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in vendor management activities.
