L2 Support Engineer (Level 2 Support)


Job Description : The L2 Support Engineer will handle escalated technical issues related to fraud detection systems. They will work closely with AI/ML engineers and telecom security teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve more complex problems, ensuring the smooth operation of the fraud detection framework and optimizing system performance


Responsibilities:

  1. Handle escalated issues from L1 support, performing in-depth troubleshooting of fraud detection systems, APIs, and network traffic monitoring tools.
  2. Investigate complex fraud alerts and system anomalies that require advanced technical knowledge.
  3. Debug and resolve issues related to AI/ML models, network monitoring tools, and API integrations with telecom systems.
  4. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and collaborate with engineering teams to implement long-term fixes.
  5. Liaise with telecom security and AI teams to ensure any system upgrades or changes are implemented smoothly.
  6. Maintain detailed documentation of issues, fixes, and system configurations for future reference and continuous improvement.
  7. Support system optimization and proactively recommend changes to improve system performance, reduce false positives, and enhance fraud detection accuracy.


Skills/Tools:

  1. Advanced knowledge of telecom networks and fraud detection tools (e.g., SIM swap detection, Header Analysis, Link Analysis, QR Code Analysis etc,).
  2. Proficiency in network traffic analysis, security protocols, and fraud monitoring systems.
  3. Experience with API debugging, database management, and performance tuning.
  4. Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell, Ansible).
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
