Job Title: Enterprise Software Sales Manager
Years of Experience: 10 years
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Sales Manager with a strong background in selling off-the-shelf software products for the BFSI sectors. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record of successfully selling enterprise-level software solutions. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to travel extensively and a sound understanding of software pricing at this level.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for off-the-shelf software products in the BFSI sector.
Identify potential clients and key stakeholders within the target market and establish strong relationships with them.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Requirement Gathering and Proposal Development:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements through effective RFP (Request for Proposal) management.
Work closely with the technical team to understand Standardized solutions and convince the client on using the as-is system as much as possible.
Prepare and present well-structured proposals that effectively address client needs and demonstrate the value of our software products.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, for reference purposes only, in your respective markets.
Timely Highlight, issues, concerns, potential churns to relevant teams internally.
Pricing and Contract Negotiation:
Have a sound understanding of software pricing at the enterprise level, including factors such as licensing, subscriptions, implementation, and ongoing support costs.
Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring optimal profitability while meeting customer expectations.
Sales Administration and Reporting:
Update and maintain the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate and up-to-date client information.
Prepare regular sales reports (market intel), including pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and competitor analysis.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan for events, go-to market, develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
8-10 years of experience in enterprise software sales, specifically in the BFSI sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully closing deals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex software solutions to clients.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales productivity tools.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
