We are seeking a skilled and organized Project Operations Coordinator to join our operations team and support the Operations Manager in managing project operations for procurement and production, and streamlining processes.


**Role Definition:**

The Project Operations Coordinator will assist in coordinating and overseeing the project operations related to procurement and production. This role involves working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, materials are procured timely, and production processes are streamlined. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.


### Key Responsibilities:


**Project Coordination:**

- Assist the Operations Manager in planning and executing projects from initiation to completion.

- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.

- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.


**Procurement Coordination:**

- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely acquisition of materials and components required for production and projects.

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or delays to the procurement team.

- Assist in managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.


**Production Coordination:**

- Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing tasks.

- Coordinate with production and assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation.

- Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays promptly.

- Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.


**Quality Control:**

- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet established quality standards and specifications.

- Identify and address any quality issues during production and project execution, implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.


**Process Streamlining:**

- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational performance.

- Track and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.


**Documentation and Reporting:**

- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, production schedules, inventory levels, and procurement activities.

- Prepare and present regular reports on project and production performance, highlighting any issues or delays.

- Document and track production and project issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.


**Team Collaboration:**

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all departments involved in project operations.

- Organize and participate in team meetings to discuss project plans, progress, and challenges.

- Support the Operations Manager in achieving overall project and production goals and objectives.


### Skills Required:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience with project management software and tools.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.


### Educational and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in sheet metal product manufacturing.


### Qualifications:

- Proven experience in coordinating project and production activities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address project and production challenges effectively.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
