Gameskraft’s new venture: Casual Gaming
Gameskraft is now venturing into Casual IAP-based games for the global audience. Our ambition is to create a high-quality mobile IAP game and find a place among the Top 50 games globally. We are looking for a Senior Economy Designer who will be responsible for building and balancing progression systems and their economics for our game.
We are looking for a Senior Economy Designer to focus on designing, optimizing, and managing a world-class in-game economy for an IAP-driven casual game. The ideal candidate will excel at tuning economic sources and sinks holistically, developing captivating game systems with a focus on enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs) to boost revenue potential.

As the Senior Economy Designer, you will:
1. Create a globally hit game
Be a key contributor to the 0-1 journey of building a game the world will love.
Own the complete game economy design to ensure players enjoy a well-tuned progression and challenge.
Develop and own other key features of the game, which impact engagement, retention, monetization, and other game & user metrics.
Create clear documentation & specifications for Business, Analytics, Engineering, and other functions to deliver high-quality production.
2. Own innovation in the game economy
Economy Design: Own end-to-end systems design, tuning, and balancing for all key mechanics and features of the game. Continuously track Earn & Sink mechanisms, inflation, and currency supply in the economy. Tune or intervene with corrective measures and features as & when needed.
Leverage best practices & game psychology to create a fun game. Create economy simulations to tweak & optimize player experience and business metrics.
Monetization: Work with the Business to contribute to the monetization strategy to increase IAP revenue and player LTV, while keeping the game fair and fun.
Analytics: Collaborate with Analytics teams to define key metrics, analyze data to stay on top of acquisition, FTUX, engagement, monetization, and retention. Generate performance reports and propose new strategies while optimizing existing tactics.
3. Collaborate extensively with:
Product, Business, and Analytics to create bold new features to improve game, user, and P&L metrics. Take your work through to production. Own the quality of output for your span of control.
All necessary functions to sustain & enhance the game economy throughout its lifespan.
What we expect you bring to the table:
6+ years of experience in working on Game Economy Systems for at least 2 IAP driven casual games.
Ability to understand and optimize player progression systems and economy system interactions. Experience with Game monetization is a big plus.
Worked hands on in building and enhancing economies of games in Slots, Strategy, Invest & Express, Casual, RPG genres.
Superb with numbers. Ability to model economies on Excel and present your work to a wide audience with clarity and depth.
Being adept at MS-Excel is mandatory, including knowledge of advanced commands, functions, data & simulation tools. Very strong documentation, written & oral communication skills.
Prior work experience in reputed Indian & Global gaming studios (e.g. Zynga, EA, Moon Frog, Playsimple, GSN, Gameberry Labs, Aristocrat, etc).
