About the Role:-
We are seeking a US SMB Sales Manager with 7–10 years of experience, including at least 3 years managing sales teams, to lead and scale our SMB sales efforts targeting the US market.
The role is focused on:-
- Driving the transition from inbound to outbound sales by building and scaling a structured prospecting motion tailored for SMB customers in the US.
- Managing and enabling India-based telesales teams to achieve consistent results for US SMB accounts.
This position is ideal for a sales leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, building frameworks, motivating teams, and ensuring predictable revenue growth.
Led Strategic Transition from Inbound to Outbound Sales
- Proactively spearheaded the shift from an inbound-driven motion to a high-performing outbound telesales strategy, driving pipeline growth by implementing structured prospecting frameworks, ICP refinement, and cadenced outreach programs tailored for SMB customers in the US market.
Cross-Geo Sales Leadership and Team Enablement
- Managed and motivated a high-output India-based telesales team catering to US SMBs; implemented timezone-optimized workflows, daily stand-ups, and remote coaching models to ensure alignment, accountability, and seamless communication across global teams.
Performance-Driven Sales Coaching and Metrics Management
- Designed and executed rigorous coaching frameworks and KPI dashboards to improve AE productivity; consistently exceeded targets by instilling a culture of ownership, data-driven performance reviews, and skill development through call shadowing and peer feedback loops.
Process Optimization and Sales Tech Stack Adoption
- Championed sales process improvements through the adoption of CRMs, dialers, and automation tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot/Salesforce); standardized playbooks and reporting systems to ensure visibility, scalability, and repeatable success in outbound outreach
Qualifications & Experience:-
- 7–10 years of progressive sales experience with at least 3 years managing high-output sales teams.
- Proven success in US SMB telesales, including building and scaling outbound sales motions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and drive accountability in distributed teams.
- Experience with sales technologies such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- SaaS experience preferred; background in SMB-focused sales strongly advantageous.
