Insights and Analytics Team Lead – Patient level data analytics & insights
Job Description
The Insights and Analytics Lead will provide integral support to our ongoing client projects. This role will leverage innovative RWD data assets to provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights.
A successful candidate should have experience in the pharma industry, a background in data analysis, a proactive mindset, desire to innovate, and a demonstrated track record of generating impactful insights for pharma / biotech organizations.
Required Experience and Skills:
Data and Analytics experience:
6 - 12 years of hands-on data analytics insights and experience with real-world data (RWD), health care claims / anonymized longitudinal patient level data (APLD) from IQVIA, MedFuse, Veeva Compass, etc., to find actionable insights for pharma / biotech organizations
Experience with EHR and/or diagnostic / reference lab data is a plus
Previous consulting experience and leading client engagements is a plus
Business Acumen:
Can identify customer pain-points, and where analytics can unlock the most value
Curious to explore innovative data assets and create new best practices
Demonstrated ability to research and understand therapeutics areas (TAs), including clinical protocols for diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as prostate cancer, breast cancer, hematology, heart failure, mental health conditions and others
Advanced problem-solving skills and desire to build/elevate internal capabilities
Project management and leadership:
Ability to prioritize tasks for team members across project workstreams
Aptitude to participate on client calls as the data / analytics expert
Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues to accomplish team goals and deadlines
Storytelling:
Good interpersonal and written communication with strong attention to detail, clarity, and accuracy
Ability to transform complex problems and processes into clear stories that motivate action
Skills:
Programming in SQL, R, SAS, and / or Python.
Strong Excel and Powerpoint.
Amazon Q is a plus.
