The Position

Position title: Analytics Lead

Location: Chennai or Hyderabad

Years of Relevant Experience in Analytics/Pharma/Biotech Domain: 4-8 for Analytics Lead

Job Description:

Roche has established Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) at Chennai to drive analytics & technology driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates across the globe.

As an Analytics Lead, you will closely work with Global Product Strategy (GPS) managers / stakeholders in solving a wide spectrum of lifecycle business problems and deliver high quality analytics solutions to real-world business problems. and generate actionable insights through secondary data analytics. With service offerings ranging from data advisory & exploration, patient level data analytics, desk research, analog analysis, sales data application, social media analytics, etc. to help GPS managers focus on high-value tasks and supporting. You will be required to conceptualize complex unstructured problems and apply analytical skills to come up with innovative solutions.

As an Analytics Lead you will:

Understand the stakeholder needs, prioritize and manage the day to day tasks accordingly

Work closely with the business stakeholders to define the project objectives and scope

Lead the team and stakeholder discussions, act as thought partner and provide them with high quality analytics solutions and recommendations

Be able to perform analytics and research from secondary data sources.

Develop presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations to the stakeholders

Lead multiple projects simultaneously depending on the requirements

Motivate, mentor and coach the junior members on the team and help them grow

Conduct training programs to develop subject matter expertise in the team

Be involved in the decision making and make significant contributions across key initiatives to help grow the GATE team

Qualifications:

Overall experience of 4-8 Years in the analytics / consulting space out of which 2-5 years of experience in delivering analytics projects in the Pharma /Biotech / Healthcare domain with EU/UK/Global focus is a must.

Exposure to data sources like

Sales data (IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, etc.)

Patient data (claims data, EMR/EHR, etc.)

Promotional data (IQVIA Channel Dynamics, Veeva, etc.)

Secondary Research data sources (DRG, Informa, etc.)

Exposure to the therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, immunology, etc is a big plus

Expert knowledge of Excel/VBA , SAS, SQL or other statistical and database software, including Python and R.

Nice to have - Working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Google data studio, QlikView, etc

Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from stakeholders

Strong work ethic coupled with high motivation and a go-getter attitude

High attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset

Education:

UG: - Any Specialization

Master’s Degree – Good to have
