We are seeking a diligent and experienced Bookkeeping Accounts Manager to oversee our financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management as needed.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in general ledger.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for greater accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure they are properly trained and motivated.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Manager.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
