Social Alpha is scouting for a few dynamic leaders for our Energy Access, Livelihoods and Climate Adaptation programs. The ideal candidates will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given initiative, such as partnerships, budgets, timelines, tasks and teams. They will have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Most importantly, they will have demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing programs for innovation pilots, deployment and scale-up in Decentralised Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and other Livelihoods. Some examples of our flagship programmes are - Sustain Plus ( and IAIN ( Program Director, you will report to the COO or CEO.
Office Locations - Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow, Ranchi, Bhubneshwar, Guwahati, Pune

Qualifications
10-15 years of experience, with at least five years in the development sector.
Strong understanding of clean energy access challenges, energy-livelihoods nexus, climate change mitigation and adaptation, agriculture and allied sectors and rural development.
Appreciation for development sector challenges, livelihoods and climate-induced stress and the importance of deploying science and technology based solutions.
Strong communication, organisational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to drive remote teams to collaborate and remain productive. Ability and willingness to work in matrix reporting structures.
Willingness to travel to remote corners of the country and extensive engagement in underserved geographies
A gile, Nimble, Hardworking, excellent communicator, self-driven, always in a mission mode
