Introduction to role:
Join us at AstraZeneca in the Oncology Biometrics Programming department, where you will be reporting to the Director, Statistical Programming. Your role will involve providing leadership and managing statistical programming activities at the project/study level. This includes planning, performing, and delivering the statistical programming aspects of clinical development. The scope of work includes Safety reporting, Data integration, and the scientific utilization of our data for AstraZeneca products. There are many career options you can pursue for progression including technical path, management of global projects or line management.
Accountabilities:
As a Statistical Programming Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading and handling statistical programming activities at the project/study level. This includes planning, executing, and delivering the statistical programming aspects of clinical development. You will also be responsible for safety reporting and data integration.
Essential Skills/Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s (or local equivalent) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life or Social Sciences or related field
Diligence – attention to detail and ability to handle concurrent projects and activities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence collaborators
Extensive SAS programming expertise to a sophisticated level within clinical drug development
Extensive knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements
Experience leading projects/studies
Lead and Hands-on Experience with balancing multiple project Pooling Safety data related to IB/DSUR, PBER, PSER, ISS, etc,.
Strong hands on programming experience in SDTM, ADaM and TLFs.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
NA
While not essential, experience in Oncology would be highly beneficial.
