What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for? Workspace ONE is a digital workspace platform that simply and securely delivers and manages any app on any device by integrating access control, application management and multi-platform endpoint management. It is available as a cloud service or for on-premises deployment.  Our goal is to enable Workspace One-Unified End point Management platform to scale and manage billions of devices across various operating system platforms and device types. As part of the UEM Platform team you will be involved in writing code, design and development of scalable software. You will be owning engineering initiatives and champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? You will need to produce software design and execute them for new use cases for various platform business. You will need to produce design to scale the current system. You will be regularly evaluated on the quality of the product you create and the code you write to ensure continued advancement of your technical skills in an environment that looks to expand them. You will have to collaboratively work across other teams What type of work will I be doing? What assignments or requirements* will I be performing on a regular basis? What are my deliverables? You will be working on the following tech stack for front-end development – Angular 12, NgRx 10, TypeScript, VMware Clarity, Reactive Programming using RxJS, JavaScript, Object Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), HTML 5, CSS3, SaaS Experience with Angular framework and Redux architecture is mandatory. Should have solid understanding of Reactive Programming and RxJS. You will be writing extensive unit tests using Jasmine and running the same with Karma test runner. You will be creating e2e test suites for all components and running them with Codecept JS. You care and have strong, well-thought-out opinions towards front end architecture Knowledge of front-end dev ops (NPM, Jenkins, Docker, creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments, etc.) What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? This role will be reporting to the Manager, Engineering. Our team’s focus is on challenging the status quo by innovating but at the same time getting stuff done. We believe in building trust amongst all our stakeholders and committing to make our customers successful. The team is organized based on modules to define clear responsibility and accountability.
