Service Delivery Manager (Life Sciences Domain) Please share me only if your match the requirement others stay away Hiring: Service Delivery Manager (Life Sciences Domain) Location: Chennai Experience: 12–18 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager (SDM) with a strong background in Life Sciences IT operations , specifically across Manufacturing (MES) and Quality (QMS/Gx P) applications. The SDM will lead managed support, service operations, and delivery for mission-critical pharma applications — ensuring compliance, stability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Service & Team Leadership: Lead and manage a shift-based L2/L3 support team in Chennai for Pharma Manufacturing & Quality applications (MES, QMS, LIMS, EBR). Operational Management: Drive Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management aligned with ITIL best practices. Ensure adherence to defined SLAs, KPIs, and continuous operational improvement. Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Serve as the primary escalation and communication point for clients, business partners, and vendors. Oversee service performance reviews and drive accountability. Compliance & Gx P Oversight: Ensure all operations and deployments comply with Gx P, audit, and validation requirements. Review and maintain system validation and SOP documentation. Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and implement automation or process enhancements for service optimization. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 12–18 years in IT, with substantial experience managing application managed support in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences environments. Applications Exposure: MES (e.g., PAS-X, Rockwell, POMS ) and QMS (e.g., Track Wise, Veeva Quality Docs ). Regulatory Understanding: Hands-on experience working in Gx P-regulated systems and validated environments. Certifications: ITIL v4 (preferred). Domain: Life Sciences background is mandatory for this role. Nice to Have Experience in Pharma Manufacturing processes . Familiarity with automation, analytics, or AI-led support tools for application management. Work Schedule Shift-based (24x7 support model) – Flexibility for global operations required.
