Job Summary

Position : Automotive delivery/ Program Manager  

Experience: 10+ years  

Location – Bengaluru

Automotive Skills:  

Embedded, Software, FuSA , Automation, PMP, Project management, MATLAB, SDLC, CRM, AutoSAR , ASPICE, ISTQB, HIL Testing,  

Role and Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and manage the Automotive embedded software development and Testing team  

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives  

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance with close customer engagement  

  • Oversee project teams, ensuring program goals are reached  

  • Work closely with project sponsor, leads, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to support the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives  

  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives  

  • Develop project plan, schedule and set up tracking and reporting aligned with defined methodology meeting customer expectations  

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with Sponsor, team members, and management.  

  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.  

  • Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, perfection seeker.  

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.  

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new team members and conduct the internal training and assessment for getting the onboard to project ready status and Tracking  

  • Execute the Team Growth Plan and Facilitate skill enhancement and in coordination with HR, and management.  

Technical Skills:  

  • Working knowledge of Automotive embedded software Industry  

  • Proficient in embedded C, CAN, RTOS, and Network Protocols  

  • Good handle over Hardware Software Interface of a typical Automotive ECU.  

  • Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset.  

  • Excellent practical experience and skills coupled with a thorough knowledge of, embedded systems and software development.  

  • Experience in SDLC or V- model based Software Development in product (New Feature development / Enhancement of existing features) using the Model based Development (MBD) tools like MATLAB.  

  • Strong process management, project management, stakeholder management, requirement management and team handling skills.  

  • Understanding of the development process of automotive software, functional safety guidelines and software development standards for automotive application  

  • Proficiency in project management software tools.  

  • Other Responsibilities:  

  • Support Tessolve’s Regular IT and Quality Audits for the ODC team  

  • Program Governance: Periodic Customer Connects (Weekly, Monthly, etc)
