Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- Technical Project Manager -Finance

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a finance background to join our team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of finance-related technology projects within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of finance principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and relevant years of experience in technical project management.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of finance-related technology projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with finance and business goals. Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and project reviews. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient utilization of resources. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and driving timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other business units, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment. Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress, milestones, and any changes to project scope or timeline. Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications/skills

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. Relevant years of experience in technical project management, preferably with a finance background. Strong understanding of finance principles, financial systems, and technology infrastructure. Strong hold in at least in one of the process - O2C or P2P Proven experience in managing finance-related technology projects, such as ERP implementations, financial reporting systems, or financial process automation. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and track project progress. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with financial software and systems, such as ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms.
