Position: Quality Engineer – Fabrication Line

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or equivalent

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience in 3rd Party Inspection (TUV, BVIL, Quest, IR Class, or similar agencies).

  2. Strong knowledge of fabrication quality standards, QAP, WPS, PQR, WPQ, and welding inspection.

  3. Hands-on experience in inspection of welding, NDT, painting, and dimensional checks.

  4. Familiar with ASME / AWS / IS / ISO standards.

  5. Ability to coordinate with clients and third-party agencies.

  6. Strong documentation skills (Inspection Reports, NCRs, Quality Dossiers).

  7. Exposure to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

  1. Conduct stage-wise and final inspections of fabricated components as per drawings and QAP.

  2. Ensure compliance with client specifications and 3rd party standards.

  3. Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records as per QAP.

  4. Coordinate with clients and inspection agencies for timely approvals.

  5. Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement in fabrication quality.

  6. Ensure safety and compliance during inspection activities.

KPIs:

  1. % Rework/Rejection in fabrication

  2. Timely inspection clearance without NCRs

  3. On-time submission of quality documents

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
