Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead and manage our manufacturing plant specializing in silos and tanks production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant operations, production, safety, maintenance, and team leadership. As the Plant Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the plant's day-to-day operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management:

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations related to the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of silos and tanks.

• Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and optimal production.

• Develop and implement efficient production processes, improving productivity and minimizing costs.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and operators.

• Foster a positive and safety-focused work environment to ensure high employee engagement and retention.

• Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure that all team members are adequately trained.

• Health, Safety, and Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance with legal requirements.

• Implement and monitor effective health and safety programs, conducting regular audits and safety drills.

• Manage risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards for silo and tank manufacturing.

• Maintenance and Quality Control:

• Develop and manage the preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize plant downtime.

• Monitor the quality of products and ensure that all silos and tanks meet quality and safety standards.

• Implement process improvements and troubleshoot any issues affecting production quality or efficiency.

• Budget and Cost Management:

• Prepare and manage the plants annual budget, including capital expenditure and operational costs.

• Identify areas to reduce costs, optimize resource usage, and improve profitability.

• Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring efficient use of materials and minimizing waste.

• Strategic Planning and Reporting:

• Contribute to the long-term strategic goals of the company, identifying areas for growth and expansion.

• Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, production output, and cost efficiency to senior management.

• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are implemented in line with company goals.

• Customer and Supplier Relations:

• Manage relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met, including customized tank and silo specifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

• 15-25 years of experience in a leadership role within plant operations, specifically in the manufacturing of silos and tanks or related industries (e.g., storage solutions, heavy engineering).

• Proven track record in plant management, operational efficiency, and team leadership.

• Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of silo and tank design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.

• Expertise in maintenance management, quality control, and troubleshooting.

• Leadership & Communication:

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Safety & Compliance:

• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.

• Experience in managing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
