Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on retail hiring.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure a high-quality talent pipeline.
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing grievances and resolving conflicts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by organizing employee engagement
activities.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
3. Performance Management:
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and providing feedback to employees.
4. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
- Collaborate with external trainers for specific skill development initiatives.
5. HR Operations:
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS systems.
- Handle payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
6. Policy Implementation:
- Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies.
- Communicate policy changes effectively to employees.
7. Retail-Specific HR Management:
- Develop strategies to address the unique challenges of retail hiring, such as high attrition
rates.
- Build partnerships with local institutions and organizations for retail talent acquisition.
- Implement flexible workforce solutions for peak seasons and store expansions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Generalist, with significant exposure to retail hiring.
- Strong understanding of recruitment tools, HR software.
- Knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary - ₹30,000 per month
