Subaan Lime Private Limited (SLPL) , a subsidiary of our group, is establishing a cutting-edge manufacturing unit for limestone-based products including limestone powder (LSP), limestone grit (LSG), Quicklime, hydrated lime, Milk of Lime, and related items.

We are seeking an Associate Director of Finance & Group Strategy to oversee our Finance and Strategy, while closely working with Senior Managements to ensure smooth operations.

 

 Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth and enhance stakeholder value.
  • Oversee the development of financial models, forecasting, and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate and implement capital structure strategies, including debt financing and equity issuance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, such as acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end process of preparing for and executing an SME listing and overseeing the timeline, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Scenario Planning: Provide senior leadership with scenario-based financial forecasts to evaluate the impact of different strategies and external factors on financial performance.
  • Lead Finance Team: Direct and mentor the finance department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and professional development for staff.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish financial goals and KPIs.
  • Ensure the company adheres to financial regulations, tax laws, SEBI guidelines and corporate governance standards.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain Finance talent to support a dynamic book of work
  • Manage statutory filings, annual reports, and financial disclosures in accordance with Growth Strategy and relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee internal and external audits to ensure robust financial controls are in place.
  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable standards to the Board of Directors.
  • Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and the financial community.
  • Lead quarterly earnings calls and presentations, addressing key performance indicators and future outlooks.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and continuously review policies to ensure best practices.
  • Deliver insights on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure necessary financing and capital.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems and data sets to make complex investigation decisions


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 8-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience in a fast-growing SME or similar environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and working closely with senior leadership to shape business direction.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, financial modelling tools).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to a broad audience.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the development and management of finance teams.
