Sr Google Cloud Site reliability engineer

As a Google Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Techolution, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud-based systems. You will work closely with development teams to design and implement systems that are highly available and fault-tolerant. Your role will involve automation, monitoring, and incident response to maintain service levels and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain automated deployment and configuration management systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, and conduct post-mortems.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and build reliable, scalable, and efficient systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Participate in capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system scaling.
- Continuously improve system reliability through automation and process optimization.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system architecture, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in GCP services , including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage , BigQuery, and more.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, or Splunk.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
