We are seeking a dynamic
Sales Capability Manager
to lead our clients initiatives that strengthen sales automation, Go-To-Market (GTM) effectiveness, and overall sales development. The role is critical in building salesforce capability, enabling digital adoption, and driving efficiency across channels to deliver business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Automation & Digital Tools
- Drive implementation and adoption of sales automation tools (SFA/CRM/DMS).
- Partner with IT and sales leadership to ensure tools are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Train and support field teams on digital tools and data-led decision-making.
- Go-To-Market Strategy (GTM)
- Support design and execution of GTM strategies to improve reach, productivity, and distribution effectiveness.
- Partner with category, trade marketing, and sales leadership teams to strengthen channel execution.
- Develop frameworks to assess market coverage, outlet universe, and channel ROI.
- Sales Capability & Development
- Design and deliver structured training interventions for the salesforce on selling skills, negotiation, and distributor management.
- Establish capability scorecards and track progress through structured assessments.
- Build leadership pipeline by coaching frontline managers on performance management and execution excellence.
- Analytics & Insights
- Leverage data to track sales KPIs, identify gaps, and recommend interventions.
- Create dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure sales effectiveness and automation ROI.
Key Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM with 6–10 years of FMCG sales experience (field sales + capability/strategy roles preferred).
- Strong exposure to
sales automation systems
(SFA/CRM/DMS) and GTM implementation. - Proven track record in
sales capability building
and training frontline sales teams. - Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
