Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Audit Manager to oversee nightly hotel operations and perform end-of-day accounting duties. This role involves managing guest services during the night, balancing daily financial transactions, and ensuring smooth handover to the morning team. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and hotel front office experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily audit of all front office and F&B outlets' transactions and reconcile revenue reports

Ensure all charges are posted correctly to guest folios and accounts

Prepare and distribute accurate daily reports (e.g., occupancy, revenue, room statistics) to management

Oversee late check-ins/check-outs, guest inquiries, and handle emergency situations during night hours

Process no-shows, cancellations, and end-of-day settlement procedures in the PMS (Property Management System)

Monitor and manage night shift front office staff to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

Ensure all financial discrepancies or errors are resolved before daily closing

Assist with night accounting functions including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and cash drops

Coordinate with housekeeping and security departments to ensure guest safety and comfort

Handover reports and issues to the morning shift team and management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Accounting, or related field

2+ years of experience in front office operations or night audit role in a hotel

Proficiency in Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, IDS, PMS) and MS Excel

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and night audit procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and ability to handle pressure and emergencies

Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a 3-star or 5-star hotel environment Familiarity with hotel revenue and occupancy reporting Basic knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations applicable to the hospitality sector Leadership experience in managing night shift teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22, ₹25,000.00 per month
