Billing Process Lead

As the Billing Process lead you will be responsible for performing the end-to-end processes of billing which includes invoice creation & credit note cancellation servicing at least one or more region. We are offering the following shift patterns: Early Shift: 6:00 AM IST - 3:00 PM IST Mid-Shift: 12:30 PM IST - 21:30 PM IST Night Shift: 6:30 PM IST - 3:00 AM How you’ll make a difference, key responsibilities: Role includes assisting Team Lead and supervising a team, resolving complex issues, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy The position acts as a critical support role to the Team Lead, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with organizational policies. Performing end-to-end Billing activities and follow established policies, procedures, and management guidance. Manage the daily activities by ensuring timeliness and meeting all required SLA. Work closely with the team, team lead/manager and relevant offshore and onshore teams within O2C Tower in reaching goals and accomplishing the team vision. Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure invoices are submitted to the clients timely and accurately. Distribute invoices to external clients through various distribution platforms e.g. mail, email, and client portal uploads. QualificationsThe qualities that help you thrive Mandatory Requirements Demonstrated ability to manage complex, project or milestone-driven billing activities in a fast-paced project environment. Core experience leading the full billing cycle. Knowledge of SLA, KPI AND UAT. The following qualifications and experience are highly desired. Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting or any Business-related course. 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash. Excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English. Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls. Experience working with ERP, i.e. Oracle Systems or SAP is preferred. Previous experience in process migration/transition is preferred. Experience working in Shared Services or BPO is preferred. Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments.
