When a new piece of software is being developed or a bug being fixed, the QA Engineers are part of the process from start to end. We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the product team and focus on deploying and following engineering best practices. Our distributed team has a broad scope and balanced mix of levels so there’s plenty of room to teach and learn. Responsibilities Analyzing bugs and issues reported by clients and internal teams. Investigate, reproduce, and debug problems to identify their root causes Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to ensure issues are correctly assigned, prioritized, and resolved efficiently. Work directly with data sources (e.g., Parquet files, MongoDB, SQL databases) to validate and cross-check reported issues. Use Postman and other tools to test and analyze APIs when investigating bugs. Follow up on open incidents and ensure clear, structured communication until resolution. Propose solutions or workarounds when possible to minimize client impact. Analyze recurring issues to identify trends and suggest improvements to prevent future problems. Define and maintain KPIs and quality metrics to provide visibility on product stability and bug management. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights, proposing process enhancements, and promoting a culture of quality. QualificationsMust have 3-5 years of relevant experience Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a technical support. Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems. Good knowledge of databases and data handling (MongoDB, SQL, Parquet files). Good understanding of defect management, and root cause analysis. Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
