Build dairy category About Our Client The role of Category Manager involves managing and driving the growth of retail categories within the technology and telecoms industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that maximise sales and enhance customer experience in Bengaluru. Job Description Develop and execute category strategies to optimise product offerings and sales performance. Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and product availability. Work with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns that drive category sales. Monitor category performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance profitability. Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure proper stock levels and minimise wastage. Support the e-commerce platform by ensuring accurate and appealing product listings. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve category goals. The Successful Applicant A successful Category Manager should have: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Experience in category management within the retail or technology and telecoms industry. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data effectively. Proficiency in tools and software relevant to category management and analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and stakeholder interactions. A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
