The Accounting Manager role is a key position in the accounting department tasked with ensuring transactions are accounted for correctly and in accordance with Bottomline’s policies. In addition, executing systems and processes effectively to ensure timely and accurate reporting.  Essential Job Functions: Manage India Accounting end to end Manage Tax related requirements for India entity Completing month-end close procedures Review Journal entry calculation and processing Forecast vs Actuals Variance Analysis Balance sheet account reconciliation review Balance Sheet Analytics and flux analysis Support Audit  Maintaining Accounting repositories Work collaboratively with business functions to obtain data and inputs to complete the monthly close. Ongoing projects related to processes improvement initiatives around key accounting functions. Researching and concluding on transactions for proper accounting treatment and coding. Supporting ad hoc accounting and upgrade projects. Required Skills: India Accounting and Taxation India Entity Audit  Proficient in Excel Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong attention to detail and able to consistently and timely produce quality, accurate work Ability to work independently, and also to work in a collaborative, team environment Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of INDIA and U.S. GAAP Experience working in a large ERP System Education and Experience: Chartered Accountant At least 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including experience working in a fast-paced environment.
