Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Test Lead located in Hyderabad. The Test Lead will be responsible for test management, test execution, testing, test strategy, and quality assurance. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing testing activities, defining test strategies, ensuring quality standards, and leading the testing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Hands on leader who will guide and motivate a team of QA engineers.
Serve in Client facing role and take ownership of delivery to the customers.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong testing and debugging skills
Experience in automating testing on cloud-based solutions
Experience and deep knowledge in test automation. Demonstrated experience in selecting, designing, and implementing test automation frameworks. Experience developing inhouse automation tools
8+ years of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
2+ years of team leadership
Do hands-on coding and proactively mentor automation & manual engineers
Must be conversant with all forms of QA lifecycle from smoke testing to regression, functional, non-functional (performance, security) and automation
Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
Managing the Scrum process in Agile methodology
Should be able to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines
Passion for technology, problem solving, strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, security, performance, and user experience
JavaScript, CSS 3, HTML 5 knowledge would be an advantage
Experience working with frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, Puppeteer is an advantage
Scrum Master Certification will be an advantage.
