JobOverview:

Weare seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Software Test Engineerwith a strong background in Selenium and API Automation Testingusing Java. As a key member of our testing team you will beresponsible for leading and executing test strategies mentoringteam members and ensuring the delivery of highquality softwareproducts. The ideal candidate should have indepth knowledge ofautomation testing excellent leadership skills and a passion fordriving excellence in testingpractices.


KeyResponsibilities:

Defineand implement test strategies methodologies and best practices forSelenium and API automation testing by developing an effectiveautomationframework.
Designdevelop and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworksusing Selenium WebDriver andJava.
Createand execute automated test scripts for web applications ensuringcomprehensive testcoverage.
Developand implement automated tests for APIs and microservices usingtools such as Rest Assured orsimilar.
Verifydata integrity security and performance of APIs through systematictesting.
Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to develop test plans test cases andtestscenarios.
Executetest cases and ensure the timely identification and resolution ofdefects.
Integrateautomated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testinganddeployment.
Implementand optimize automated regression testing to maintain softwarestability.
Workclosely with development teams product managers and otherstakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals andrequirements.
Providetimely and accurate testing status reports to projectstakeholders.
Championand enforce quality assurance processes and standards throughoutthe software developmentlifecycle.
Conductcode reviews and ensure the adoption of best coding practiceswithin the testingteam.Leadand mentor a team of software test engineers providing technicalguidance andsupport.




RequirementsBachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or arelatedfield.
Provenexperience in leading Selenium and API automation testingefforts.
Expertin understanding the requirements and developing Automation framework fromscratch
Strongprogramming skills in Java and handson experience with testingframeworks such as TestNG orJUnit.
Extensiveexperience in designing and implementing automation frameworks forwebapplications.
Solidunderstanding of API testing principles andtools.
Experiencewith version control systems (e.g. Git) and build tools (e.g. MavenGradle).
Familiaritywith CI/CD tools (e.g. JenkinsBamboo).
Excellentleadership communication and interpersonalskills.
Abilityto drive innovation and continuous improvement within the testingteam.
