Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automation Test Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts for our software products, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of automation testing strategies for various projects.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements and define test automation strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Identify areas for test automation improvement and implement best practices to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and automation testers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and recommend new tools or practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in mobile test automation and API testing.
