RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting Qualitative Data Analysis and Report Writing.
Literature review, design, and pilot survey instruments and tools. Review of survey tools received from client and translation(s) of the same.
Assisting the research team in developing training material for the field team.
Field mapping, planning, training, and execution. Fieldwork to conduct training, field monitoring, interviews, focus group discussions etc. as and when required.
Creating budgets for research projects.
Collaborating and contributing to the company's new research projects/ ideas.
Preparing research proposals (working on the method and sampling, both quantitative and qualitative for monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment studies).
Contributing in the form of attending conferences, writing blogs/papers for communication
Liaising with the OI’s current and potential clients.
Providing logistical support to the team as and when required.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Essential:
A Postgraduate/Masters Degree in Social Work or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 4 years of professional/research work experience across M&E project-based settings.
Prior fieldwork experience is mandatory Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with qualitative research including ethnographic methods, PRA techniques, reflexive analysis, and report writing including other relevant methodologies.
Desired: Familiarity with quantitative research and mixed-method study design.
Know-how of the development sector in India.
Strong management and leadership skills.
Ability to multi-task and take ownership for timely completion of tasks
Innovative and receptive to working on new ideas and proposals.
Strong Microsoft skills (Word and Excel).
Experience in working with National/International NGOs/UN Bodies/Governments/Startups will be valued.
Familiarity with one or more Indian languages.
