About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team and play a vital role in building and maintaining our enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Java programming and experience with popular backend development frameworks and tools. This role requires working in a general shift which may involve flexible working hours.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Work closely with APIs and integrate them into the backend systems.

- Utilize Hibernate or similar ORM tools for data persistence and object-relational mapping.

- Leverage messaging queues (Kafka preferred) for asynchronous communication between microservices.

- Employ NoSQL databases like Aerospike, Redis, or Cassandra for specific data storage needs.

- Implement microservices architecture principles to build modular and maintainable applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.

- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, system architects, and other team members.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues efficiently.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Java technologies and backend development trends.

Qualifications :

- 3-6 years of experience in Java backend development

- Strong proficiency in Core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework for building web applications

- Experience with Hibernate or similar ORM tools for data access

- Familiarity with messaging queues like Kafka for asynchronous communication (a plus)

- Understanding of NoSQL databases like Aerospike, Redis, or Cassandra (a plus)

- Experience with microservices architecture and design principles

- Ability to write clean, testable, and well-documented code

- Experience with unit and integration testing methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
