Job description :

As a Backend Developer the candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend architecture of our software applications

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet our clients needs

Job Responsibilities :

- Backend Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient backend solutions to support the overall functionality of our software applications.


- Database Management : Create and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

- Implement data storage solutions that align with the applications requirements.

- API Development : Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend components of our applications.

- Ensure seamless integration with third-party services when necessary.

- Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend infrastructure.

- Conduct regular system analysis to enhance application speed and efficiency.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the overall success of the development projects.

- Code Review : Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices.

- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.

- Security : Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Proven experience with Node.js and relevant frameworks (Express, Nest.js, etc.).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.

- Proficient in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

- Strong database management skills (MongoDB) and experience with database design and optimization.

- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API development and integration.

- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience and working knowledge of version Control systems like Github and build tools like Maven/Gradle.

- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

- Strong sense of ownership of deliverables.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise :

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Familiarity with Monolithic and Microservices architecture.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.

- Degree in Computer Science, , Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

- Experience with DevOps, Agile, and Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices.

- Experience working with open-source technologies.
