Job Description The Associate Manager is responsible for entire gamut of HR Operations and Employee Life Cycle Management. The role supports Talent Management initiatives and ensures proper onboarding for the new employees for helping them settle in the organization. The Associate manager plays a key role in total HR operations management for on roll and contractual employees and identifies gaps and work towards improvisation of HR processes. The responsibilities also include maintaining effective working relations with all key stakeholders, managing processes and policy improvement.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the values and vision of the organizationProtect the Intellectual PropertyAdhere to all the policies and proceduresLiaise with other line functions to collect or provide relevant dataPartner closely with stakeholders and business leaders to brainstorm, collaborate, and drive new ideas forwardComplete formalities of new joiners and manage their on-boardingResponsible for timely management of payroll & benefits, maintaining excel sheetsResponsible for designing and implementing best HR policies in the organization and documenting themResponsible for leave & attendance management and weekly reportingIdentifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance like PF related proceduresAttending to employee grievances and concernDriving employee engagement activities on the floor ensuring an increase in motivation & commitment of all employeesWork closely with Payroll and other HR staff in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR/Payroll programs, functions and activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductionsHandle time-keeping formalities, Attendance and Leave ManagementResponsible for ensuring records of all employees, and requisitions are accurate and up-to-date at any given point of timeProvide reports on regular basis to keep the senior management team informed of the operational activities and progressHandle Reliving formalities like Full & Final Settlement, Exit Interviews, Reliving/Experience letter etc.Review company employment policies and proceduresRevise, develop, implement policy and practices to support business goals and strategiesConduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain department record keeping requirements and reportsPartner with legal department as needed/required and perform other duties to meet business needsAnswer non-routine requests for information on policy interpretationFulfill a variety of operational tasks using appropriate proprietary application

Essential SkillsJobHave hands on exposure in handling end to end aspects of HR OperationsProficiency in Oracle Fusion HCM, including system configuration and reporting as a user.Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skillsProficiency in customer relationship management is essentialKnowledge of principles and practices of human resourcesPrior experience with an HRIS databaseExcellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy are essentialMust have strong social media and internet skillsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing policies and making group presentationsMust have integrity and the ability to handle confidential informationExcellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work activities are essentialMust be able to solve problems using sound and accurate judgmentPersonalShould have understanding of business objectives and organization structureThe candidate must have strong work ethics and trustworthinessThe candidate should work accurately with attention to detail by maintaining confidentiality and integrityMust be highly collaborative and team oriented with commitment to excellencePreferred SkillsJobShould be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independentlyShould have proven track record of impacting results throughout careerThe candidate should be a highly versatile thinker who can assimilate knowledge and has understanding across different industries, products, technologies, disciplines etc.
