Facebook Ads Manager Roles Responsibilities
- Strategy Planning
- Develop and execute Facebook Ads strategy aligned with business goals (awareness, leads, sales).
- Identify target audience segments and map campaigns to the customer journey.
- Conduct competitor research using Facebook Ads Library to benchmark creatives and strategies.
- Plan full-funnel campaigns (TOF, MOF, BOF) for better ROI.
- Campaign Setup Execution
- Create, manage, and optimize campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager .
- Choose correct campaign objectives (Traffic, Leads, Conversions, etc.).
- Structure campaigns effectively (Campaign Ad Set Ads).
- Manage budget allocation (CBO/ABO) and bidding strategies.
- Ensure proper ad placements (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Audience Network).
- Creative Management
- Collaborate with design/copywriting teams to produce ad creatives (images, videos, carousel).
- Write compelling ad copy, headlines, and CTAs aligned with campaign goals.
- Test different creatives (A/B testing) to identify best-performing variations.
- Ensure creatives are brand-compliant and follow Facebook Ad Policies.
- Audience Targeting
- Build Core Audiences (demographics, interests, behaviors).
- Create Custom Audiences (website visitors, email lists, app users).
- Develop Lookalike Audiences to scale reach.
- Implement retargeting campaigns (cart abandoners, video viewers, engaged users).
- Tracking Reporting
- Install and manage Facebook Pixel Conversions API for accurate tracking.
- Define and monitor Standard Events (ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase, etc.).
- Generate detailed performance reports (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS).
- Present campaign insights and recommendations to management/clients.
- Optimization Scaling
- Monitor live campaigns and make adjustments for performance.
- Optimize targeting, creatives, and placements based on results.
- Scale successful campaigns using budget scaling strategies (vertical horizontal).
- Pause underperforming ads to control costs.
- Implement remarketing strategies for higher conversions.
- Compliance Account Health
- Stay updated with Facebook Ad Policies to prevent disapprovals.
- Ensure ads comply with GDPR, iOS14+ tracking, and data privacy norms.
- Maintain account reputation and resolve ad account restrictions.
- Collaboration Continuous Learning
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, product, design, content).
- Stay updated with new Facebook Ads features and industry trends.
- Suggest innovative campaign ideas to improve ROI.
