Your role

• gain thorough understanding of systems and processes in lifecycle of model development and coordinate with various stakeholders for implementation of change.
• survey, analyze and evaluate processes, products and services and provide solutions for current challenges.
• conduct interviews with Quants to gather requirements and perform analysis for future enhancements.
• prepare documentation of processes and business requirements
• proactive build relationships with relevant teams to understand changes happening at an organizational level andprehend the impact it would have on model lifecycle.
Your team
The Statistical Risk Aggregation Methodology teamprises of highly skilled and knowledgeable quantitative analysts working on statistical risk aggregation models used in Economic Capital Framework. You will act as a business analysts, and work with hard-core developers to ensure smooth and timely implementation of changes. You will represent risk methodology and you will interact with stakeholders such as IT, data providers, data management office and initiative managers. You will ensure that new IT applications and processes are successfully developed, tested and go live in production. In addition, you will help in assessing impacts of IT change initiatives and ensure changes are aligned with the strategic objectives of the risk methodology team.
Your expertise
You have:
- a degree in STEM disciplines,puter science, banking and finance, or relevant work experience.
- advance knowledge of Python/R or any programming language is required.
- knowledge of Databricks, Azure, Cloudputing, and SQL will be an added advantage.
- previous experience working as business analyst in IT or change management area for financial institutions is desirable.
- knowledge of risk methodology, quantitative analysis, treasury, or finance related topics is desirable.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
