Job Description for the post of Risk Analyst: The operational Risk Analyst is responsible for managing various areas of operational risk within the Crif Highmark ERM team including producing comprehensive risk reporting across various risk families, allowing senior management to monitor risk effectively.
Reporting to - Head of Risk
- Supporting head of ERM in the overall implementation of Risk Management framework across the organisation (Crif Highmark) and its various functions.
- Responsible for the completion of the Business Unit Risk Control Self Assessments i.e. RCSA by working as a team with various functions and perform reviews as part of 2nd line defence.
- Pro-actively drive a strong culture of Risk Management within the organisation and create awareness on various lines of defence.
- Identify and document Risk Mitigation Action Plans along with continuous monitoring.
- Carry out detailed walkthroughs and process mapping to identify significant risks and controls
- Undertake the maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management Risk Register and carry out periodical reviews
- Report key risk and control indicators of department/business unit (KRI)
- Ensure appropriate review of the financial impact of operational incidents and root cause and business impact analysis
- Monitor, review, and communicate the impact to the risk profile of future initiatives, including new product assessments, changes to strategies, targeted risk reviews, and major business changes.
- Build strong rapport with other assurance functions (i.e. Compliance, Internal Audit, etc.) and work as a team to achieve organisational goals.
- Preparation of various Risk management related presentations for reporting purpose including tracking of actionable and MoMs.
- Develop strong understanding of various business processes, regulatory requirements and leverage the knowledge in performance of risk assessments.
- Conduct product risk assessment of all products (All three stages included = Pre launch, go live and Ongoing monitoring)
- Supports and/or leads processes that support Business Continuity Management governance (BCM) requirements as part of the enterprise operational risk framework.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of systems and data to ensure optimal use of technology.
- Providing trainings to employees on risk management
- Responsible for the maintenance of various trackers and deliverables maintained as part of framework implementation.
