Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer who will be responsible for creating detailed designs, models, and drafts for various construction and signage projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and drafting, with a focus on precision and accuracy. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and production teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to completion. Qualifications: 1. English Proficiency - C1 Level: Possess an advanced level of English proficiency (C1), both written and verbal, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders in a globalized work environment. 2. Mechanical Engineering Degree: Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles. 3. At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the field of mechanical design, showcasing a proven track record of successful projects. 4. Advanced CAD Proficiency: Exhibit extensive expertise in using a variety of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including but not limited to Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit, highlighting versatility and adaptability in design software. 5. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Knowledge: Display familiarity with FEA principles and practical experience in conducting structural and thermal analyses to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical designs. 6. Certifications: Hold relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Inventor, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and mastery of the software. 7. Project Management Skills: Demonstrate proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. 8. Knowledge of Industry Standards: Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices related to mechanical design, ensuring that all designs comply with relevant regulations and guidelines. 9. Collaborative Skills: Showcase effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, fostering a collaborative environment for successful project outcomes. 10. Design Optimization Skills: Possess the ability to optimize mechanical designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability, considering materials, processes, and assembly methods. 11. Prototyping and Testing Experience: Have hands-on experience in prototyping and testing mechanical designs to validate functionality and identify areas for improvement. 12. Automation and Scripting Knowledge: Display familiarity with scripting languages or automation tools to enhance efficiency in repetitive tasks within the design process. 13. Knowledge of Industry Trends: Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in mechanical design, such as additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and sustainable design practices. 14. Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and manipulation, enhancing overall project efficiency. 15. MS OneDrive Knowledge: Familiarity with MS OneDrive, enabling seamless collaboration and file management within a cloud-based environment. 16. File Manipulation Skills: Proficient in manipulating various file formats, including STEP, SAT, DXF, and DWG, among others, ensuring compatibility and interoperability in the design process. 17. Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs): Proficient in creating comprehensive bills of materials, showcasing meticulous attention to detail in documenting components and materials for manufacturing processes. Multilingual Collaboration: Leverage C1 level English proficiency to facilitate clear and effective communication with international team members, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring accurate exchange of ideas and information. 2. Conceptualization and Design: Generate innovative and feasible mechanical design concepts based on project requirements, considering factors such as functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. 3. 3D Modeling and Analysis: Utilize advanced skills in 3D modeling software, including Autodesk Inventor and other relevant tools, to create detailed and accurate representations of mechanical components and systems. Conduct thorough analyses, such as finite element analysis (FEA), to validate design performance. 4. 2D Drafting and Documentation: Create precise 2D drawings and detailed documentation using CAD software, ensuring clarity and adherence to industry standards. Provide comprehensive design documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes. 5. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the design and development phases. Effectively communicate design intent and address feedback. 6. Project Management: Manage and coordinate multiple design projects concurrently, adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure the successful completion of projects. 7. BOM Creation: Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each design project, detailing components, materials, and quantities required for manufacturing and assembly. Maintain meticulous records to support the production process. 8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design methodologies. 9. Prototyping and Testing Support: Collaborate with the prototyping and testing teams, providing necessary support during the fabrication and testing phases to validate design concepts and ensure functionality. 10. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Conduct thorough reviews to identify and rectify potential issues, ensuring the highest quality in the final product. 11. Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving design-related challenges, and offering guidance on design principles and best practices. 12. Documentation Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders.
