- Manage Daily Operations:Oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
Food Preparation & Menu Development
- Prepare and Cook Food:Prepare dishes and assist with food preparation, often stepping in at any station as needed.
- Contribute to Menu Planning:Develop new dishes and assist the head chef in creating and refining menu items.
- Ensure Quality Control:Monitor and maintain the consistency and high quality of dishes in terms of taste and presentation.
- Manage Inventory:Monitor ingredient stock levels, track inventory, and order supplies as needed.
