Position Title: Assistant Registrar

Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education administration, preferably in a registrar's office or similar administrative role.
3. Strong understanding of academic policies, regulations, and procedures in higher education.
4. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively interact with students, faculty, staff and regulatory agencies.
6. Proficiency in database management and student information systems.
7. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate reports.
8. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
10. Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
Job Description:
RV University, a leading institution in Bengaluru, is seeking an experienced Assistant Registrar to join our administrative team. The Assistant Registrar will work closely with the University Registrar to ensure the efficient and effective operation of administrative tasks within the university.
Responsibilities:
University Registrar: Collaborate with the University Registrar to execute administrative functions related to student records, academic policies, university regulations and construction projects.
with government Agencies: Help Registrar in obtaining necessary regulatory approvals, preparing and submit reports to regulatory agencies and ensure regular follow ups.
Record Management: Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of student records, including registration, enrollment, grades, and academic transcripts. Ensure compliance with university policies and legal requirements.
Support Services: Provide support and assistance to students regarding academic matters, including course selection, academic planning, and academic appeals.
Analysis and Reporting: Compile and analyze data related to student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. Prepare reports for university administration and accreditation purposes.
Collaborate with other university departments, including admissions, financial aid, and academic departments, to ensure seamless coordination of services and support for students.
Development: Stay informed about current trends and best practices in higher education administration. Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
