Responsibilities

To Lead design and development of Electrical component during the life cycle of development as a Component Owner through proper analysis by QDCF. Maintainability to handle multiple Electrical component ownership. Supporting product owner within different projects in technical deliveries maintaining timeline, budget estimation and Engineering release activities. Evaluating technical solution cross functionally and preparing technical requirement and documents. To drive discussions with suppliers on issues related to requirements definition, design, validation and follow-up. This work can be done in close collaboration with other stakeholders, Global component owners, OTSRs, & project managers at all sites. Contribute to project risk analyzes. DFMEA, SFMEA etc. Taking charge on solving manufacturing/customer/supplier quality as part of continuous improvements. Fair understanding of durability and reliability test requirements - understanding of test reports and product validation. Supporting your team in technical discussions to make the right technical choices. Lead continuous improvement activities (process, tools, methods) and fostering innovation for Quality, Mass, and Cost initiatives. Ability to manage multiple tasks using analytical and critical thinking skills.


Note: This role is for development of Automotive Electrical components for platform components like Alternator, Battery, Power Switches, LV/Flexible Switches etc.

Qualifications & Experience

BE or M. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent.  6-10 years of experience preferably in automotive domain (OEM/Tier-1’s).  Excellent Passion working on vehicles & Creating new Ideas. Agile Way of Working methodology. Basic understanding of software development & managing software requirements. Basic EMI/EMC understanding & review of test reports for component. Good communication skills, organized, systematic and fair in analysis and have a special attention to maintain control over quality, cost, time and feature criteria. Should have good System level knowledge of the Electrical components. Team player with growth mindset.
