STAND 8 is hiring a Technical Proposal Writer/Coordinator with an extensive background of results and success in the technology industry.
The Technical Proposal Writer/Coordinator will be responsible for creating, authoring, and delivering best in class IT Staffing/Services proposals primarily for US Federal, State, Local, and Public Sector opportunities. The ideal candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and excitement around developing winning content, identifying new bid opportunities, and growing a content library.
Key Responsibilities
- Author and manage proposals for US Federal, State, Local, and Public Sector opportunities, as well as commercial proposals.
- Create customized, persuasive technical services and staffing proposals that incorporate bid strategy, client benefits, and case studies.
- Develop an understanding of the proposed solution and then build upon current information and material to craft a tailored proposal that incorporates bid strategy, specific client benefits, organizational positioning, and supporting messages and case studies
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and write new content for proposal responses while updating the centrally managed knowledge base
- Conduct Go/No-Go assessments and project tracking to prioritize opportunities and improve win rates.
- Prepare responses to incoming RFPs, ensuring clear messaging, adherence to compliance, and alignment with sales objectives.
- Curate, grow, and update our team library of approved content, driving and organizing proposal content to maximize reuse effectiveness and utility
- Manage proposal documents and the flow of information among participants, including document version control and SharePoint management.
- Interface with management and sales staff to ensure proposals meet client requirements and reflect bid strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and create a repository of reusable artifacts and materials for future proposals.
- Identify and register for new RFP opportunities and bid notifications.
Requirements
- Experience writing, editing, and preparing RFPs/RFIs/DDQs in a technology-related sector.
- Proven expertise in developing proposals in response to RFPs, task orders, and government contracts.
- Exceptional content writing, editing, and proofreading skills, attention to detail and accuracy, as well as above-average analytical skills
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Ability to manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders from across the business and form effective working relationships
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong team player and can work within a remote environment
