RoleDefinition TheManager Infrastructure is the head of all infrastructurerelatedprocesses atInventureAcademy.This role involves managing infrastructural assets and workingclosely withtheFinance Managerand Administration Manager to ensure smooth operations andmaintenanceof theacademysfacilities.Responsibilities InfrastructuralResponsibilities:Procurementand ContractManagement:Call forquotations and finalize contracts for the purchase ofitems.Ensure timelypurchase of infrastructural needs andconsumables.Maintainquality standards for allpurchases.Keepdetailed records for the identification and traceability ofpurchaseditems.QualityandMaintenance:Planand implement quality audits for resourcemanagement.Ensuresafekeeping and maintenance of all schoolinfrastructures.Implementcorrective and preventive actions for qualityimprovement.Achievequality objectives related to infrastructure and itsutilization.InventoryandHygiene:Maintain aninventory of all school furniture andinfrastructure.Managepest control and hygienemeasures.SecurityandUtilities:Overseecampus security and water supplymanagement.Ensurehealth facilities are properlymaintained.PeopleManagementResponsibilities:StaffManagement:Assignroles and responsibilities to all administrative staffincludingadministratorshousekeeping security catering andtransportpersonnel.Superviseand assess the performance of all administrativestaff.Manageattendance for administrative and supportstaff.Coordinatefirefighting disaster management and otheremergencyresponses.VendorManagement:Maintainvendor relationships with service providers forhousekeepingsecuritytransport landscaping medical services andothers.OperationalProcesses:Overseethe maintenance of transport canteen housekeeping and otherfacilities.Ensuresafety and hygiene standards aremet.Manage theschool operationalbudget.MaintenanceandRecords:Maintaininventories of all infrastructural assets for identification andtraceability.Keepdetailed records of all staff including application forms staffdetails roleandresponsibilitydetails and performance appraisalrecords.Maintainresource inventories and utilizationrecords.Keep a fileof jobapplications.Reporting:Furnishquarterly reports to the CEO & Managing Trustee and theHead Finance&Administrationdetailing:Allpurchases.Anylosses breakages andthefts.Status andmaintenance of infrastructuralassets.All vendorrelated reports (transport Housekeeping gardeningsecuritypestcontroletc)QualificationsandExperience EducationalQualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Facilities Managementora related field.A master s degree would be aplus.Experience:Minimumof 710 years of experience in administration andinfrastructuremanagement.Experiencein the education or hospitality industry is highlydesirable.Backgroundin defense services will be an addedadvantage.Skills:Strongattention todetail.Excellentorganizational and multitaskingabilities.Proficientin vendor management and contractnegotiation.Strongleadership and people managementskills.Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.Ability tohandle emergency situationsefficiently.Proficientin the use of MS Office and other relevantsoftware.KeyCompetencies: Leadership:Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of administrativestaff.DetailOriented:Keen eye for detail to ensure quality and safetystandards.StrategicThinking: Ability to plan and implement effective strategies forresourcemanagementand operationalefficiency.ProblemSolving:Strong problemsolving skills to handle variousoperationalchallenges.Communication:Effective communication skills for reporting andvendornegotiations.
