About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Protocol Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge network protocols. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing network protocols, ensuring seamless and efficient data transmission across various network environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement L2 and L3 network protocols, with a strong focus on data path optimization.
Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of network protocol issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of network protocols into complex network systems.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in network protocol technologies and industry best practices.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in protocol development and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of hands-on experience in network protocol development, with a strong emphasis on L2 and L3 protocols.
Deep understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and routing protocols.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C Programming(oops, exception,Multithreading)
Experience with network protocol testing and validation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for network technology and a drive for innovation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with QoS (Quality of Service) mechanisms and technologies.
Knowledge of network virtualization and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts.
Contributions to open-source network protocol projects.
