ACL Digital is actively hiring for experienced Senior L2/L3 Protocols Developer - QoS to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2/L3 Networking Protocols Developer with a strong focus on Quality of Service (QoS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols, a solid foundation in C/C++ programming, and a passion for delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable networking solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance L2/L3 networking protocols, including but not limited to:- Ethernet, VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP- IP, ARP, ICMP, IGMP, MLD- OSPF, BGP, IS-IS- MPLS, RSVP, LDP- Develop and optimize QoS features, including:- Classification, marking, and policing- Queue scheduling algorithms (WFQ, PQ, SP, etc.)- Congestion control mechanisms- Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems.- Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and test engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to our networking products.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- 6+ years of experience in L2/L3 networking protocol development.- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.- Experience with QoS mechanisms and algorithms.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.- Strong understanding of networking hardware and software architectures.- Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., IXIA, Spirent).- Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with network processor architectures and SDKs.- Knowledge of network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN).- Experience with network security protocols (e.g., IPsec, SSL).- Contributions to open-source networking projects.
