Commensurate with experienceFull Job DescriptionOur Team is actively seeking a highly motivated Government Sales Specialist who will be responsible for obtaining Government sales utilising our firm’s existing contracts and new prospects. The Government Sales Specialist will be responsible for the development of new state and central Government business across the India.Qualifications:3+ years Government Sales Experience a mustStrong existing relationships in the Government arena, as well as a strong track record of new business developmentSound understanding of government and

contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests and Government E-Market (GeM)College degree in a business-related field preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalOutstanding executive presenceAbility to structure your own time to maximise productivityCompetitive in nature, yet able to be a team playerOptimal candidate will have self-direction, initiative, and the need to succeedShould have proficiency in languages - Hindi and EnglishJob Duties:Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsCreate goals and objectives for targeting government customers to maximise sales growthGenerate new sales opportunities with government clientsCreate and maintain proposal and contract documents relative to government projects, and contractsServe as a company representative at major industry events, conferences, and/or trade showsPromote product knowledge by setting up meetings and offering product demonstrations/presentations to government customersLiaising with government stakeholders at all the levels
