The India Talent Acquisition Team

Join our innovative Talent Acquisition team where you'll lead a dedicated group of professionals in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent. Drive the development of recruitment strategies and collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. Utilize your people management skills to inspire and develop team members while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sr. Director APAC, the Manager Recruiting will oversee hiring for Okta India. This role involves developing and executing recruitment strategies to meet the company's talent needs. Responsibilities include managing a team of recruiters, collaborating with senior leadership, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the Indian talent market, and a track record of success in recruiting top talent.

What you’ll be doing  Leading and managing a team of recruiters to effectively source, screen, and hire top-tier talent for Okta's India operations. Collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop strategic recruitment plans aligned with business objectives. Implementing innovative sourcing techniques and leveraging various recruiting channels to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate evaluation to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Continuously analyzing recruitment metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements to the recruitment process, contributing to the overall success of Okta's talent acquisition efforts in India. What you’ll bring to the role 10 years experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, particularly in a managerial capacity, with a strong understanding of the Indian talent market and hiring trends. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of recruiters to achieve recruitment goals and deliver high-quality results. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior leadership, hiring managers, and candidates. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a results-oriented mindset, to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies that drive business success. A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive recruitment process that attracts candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences. And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following  Implementing and optimizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes and enhance candidate management. Utilizing data analytics and metrics to track recruitment KPIs, evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and inform data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with employer branding initiatives and employer value proposition (EVP) development to attract top talent and enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
