Lexitas is a MNC Company that has set up a subsidiary in Chennai, India – Lexitas India Pvt. Ltd. This Indian company will be the Lexitas Global Capability Center, helping build a world class IT development team, and over time serve as a Shared Services hub for several of the corporate functions.


This is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, India .


The Senior HR Generalist is an exciting newly created role with Lexitas India working under the direction of the Lexitas CHRO and the Lexitas India Managing Director to implement & create best-in-class Human Resource policies & procedures and help build a high performance culture as well as payroll functions for this newly established team.


Responsibilities


  • Assist with Benefit Administration.
  • Assist with the processing of all invoices as needed (Benefits, ADP, Independent Contractor, etc.)
  • Complete New Hire/Term/Promotion Report and submit to Help Desk, Training Dept.
  • Collaborate and manage all human resources employee relations and activities for all divisions.
  • Coordinates pre-employment candidate HIPAA, Sexual Harassment Training, background checks, includes overseeing the onboarding and termination process.
  • Assist, process and administer all leaves policy task and communications with employees.
  • Provides HR and benefit support to managers and employees, explaining procedures, benefits and policies in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage medical insurance renewal.
  • Create, monitor, manager and coordinate all workflow processes between Human Resources and Payroll.
  • Work with the CHRO to review, draft and customize job descriptions as needed and collaborates with managers.
  • Monitor confidential employee personnel file and correct any issues with files.
  • Administration and update HRIS, as needed.
  • Gather and analyze data for HR Metrics, utilizing reports from HRIS.
  • Create and update spreadsheets with employee data and assist with HR Audits.
  • Track Performance Improvement Plans, corrective actions, performance appraisals and attendance issues.
  • Monitor New Hire/Terms Replacement and Requisition sheets.
  • Handles employee relations including performing confidential investigations as needed.
  • Process survey’s, government questionnaires and reports.
  • Assist with administration of PF, NPS programs, as needed.
  • Create communications to ensure accurate information is being communicated to employees in a timely manner.
  • Maintains compliance with employment and benefit laws, and regulations.
  • Safeguards confidentiality of the medical records and complies with all privacy laws assuring compliance concerning use, retrieval, storage and sharing of records.
  • Assists in training and/or cross-training employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience


  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience, required.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in HR operations including payroll preferred.
  • HRIS knowledge preferred.
  • Adheres to compliance policies.
  • Constantly strives to achieve excellence in day-to-day operations of respective department.
  • Works collaboratively with all members of management to resolve departmental and organizational challenges expeditiously, economically, professionally and with minimum disruption to the practice.
